Repo closer to me... Where to find out?

Hello all,
I am torqued, I just installed FC8 and there are about 300 updates, and it is taking all damn day to download like 15 of them, either on broadband at work, or at home. I don't want to wait a month for these!!

What can speed this up, a new repo to pull from?

I think there is a repo in Phoenix I can, or should be able to pull from. Can someone advise me if that is true, and secondly, what the address it?

Well, you can:
> look at your repo file, then visit the site listed in the "mirrorlist" line to see if you can identify a mirror site closer to you, but that will be guessing; Hint: replace "$releasever" with your Fedora flavor (6, 7, 8, etc.) and "$basearch" with i386 or x86_64
> Before proceeding, install Presto to do that for you. See the "HOW-TO" for Presto/deltarpm in the "Guides and How-tos" forum here.
