Fuzzy Monitor Acer AL 1916 & 3dfx Voodo Video card

I am a very newbie and have Fedora 8 running. I am having monitor resolution issues...along with figuring out a good way to seek assistance. I have tried to find the right resolution setting in system/admin/display ...

Acer AL 1916 with a 3dfx Voodo Video card....

I am thinking I have a driver issue.

Thanks for the support!
