Setting Default avi Player? [Solved]

I'm using Fedora 7 and was wondering how I can change the default player for .avi (or other types) from mplayer to VLC. When I do an open with, I have the option for VLC, but I would like this player to be the default for avis. I looked under system --> Prefs --> Default Apps, but it only let me select the browser, email client and treminal.

Thanks

Quella

Right-click on an AVI and choose Properties, go to the 'Open With' tab and check your player of choice

Edit: you were also looking in the wrong place, not 'Default Apps' but 'Removable Drives and Media'

Wayne,Your my hero. I guess I was looking in the wrong spot, but always within reach of the solution under my nose. Thanks for the reply.
