Question ie4linux problem

i was using ie4linux 6.0 version with absolutely no problem( installed the whole thing by default), and I download a beta 6 version, installed everything by default as well, but then when i try to start it, wine tells me to install gecko because it was trying to show an html page. I installed the gecko, and when i start ie, it is just nothing in it, but when i right-click the empty page, there is still something show up. really weird. please help me.

If you don't know why - then don't install it. I had a corporate accounting system that would reject any browrser except IE (F* Wells-Fargo). My wife has a blood glucose monitor that uses java/javascript and requires IE5.5+ and Windoze to upload data. Sad that this is the case.
