kernel panics galore

Hey team, got a new issue.

Every kernel I have installed besides the original 2.6.21-1.3194.fc7 panics. I have tried four different kernels over the last several months including the latest 2.6.22.4-65.fc7 with no success. after updating and trying to boot into the latest kernel, i get the panic at boot. rebooting into the original kernel gives no issues. I use this server for development and production of websites and would like to keep it up to date. any ideas team?

some notes:

hard drive scheme:
/ = 60 gig IDE
/home = 3X 250 gig sata in raid5 linux software raid. no logical volume.

amd64 3000+
512mb ram
fc7

mainly web server but want to expand use to file / network management once these issues are resolved.

thanks!

I'd head to Bugzilla and check out the status of some open kernel issues. I know that Leigh123@linux has had nothing but problems with recent kernels too. Check out some of his posts on the issue. And, to be realistic, updating the kernel is not really necessary unless there's some features you're missing now.
