wirless not working

hey my wifi is not working properly... when i turn it on and try to use my internet it doesnt work... but in my windows if i do that its proper .... my wireless card is an "Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" running on a hp pavillion dv5200 laptop. How am i supposed to get the wifi working? please help. thanks

The easy way would be for someone to tell you how, but the question has been asked so many times here that it's better if I suggest searching this forum for something like IPW3945.
