WEP connection Problem FC7

Hey everyone, I have been frequenting the site for a while and searching all I can because I just started using FC7.

My problem is this: My Wireless will not connect if a WEP key or any time of security is enabled on the wireless modem/access point.

If I turn off the security it works perfectly. At home at at work on two separate modems it will not connect. I have an intelpro internal wireless card and it works great unless there is security. I've changed the wep key using different options etc. to see if I just had something typed in wrong, unchecked etc. But to no avail. The same at work. Its not WPA, its a 10 digit passphrase. I'm using KNetworkManager to try and connect.

I also tried OpenSuse, and it had the same problem everything worked except connecting with security. I have windows on another HD and it connects with no problems using the wep key.

I've searched the forum and I'm sorry if this was addressed elsewhere but nothing I tried or read helped the problem.

Thank you, Cuevasnod3
