mounting a ntfs storage drive

i have a ntfs storage drive and id like to be able to mount it and be seen in fedora core failing that i want to mount&format it

/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0 thats my fstab untouched i installed ntfs-3g so not usre how to add i added xtra line and changed all ext3 to ntfs-3g and fubared my install...

yum install ntfs-3g
mkdir /ntfs

them mount it with an fstab line like ....
/dev/hdxn /ntfs ntfs-3g defaults 0 0

"mount -a" or bootup will then mount it.

To figure out the correct device name (not /dev/hdxn" type the command "fdisk -l" as toot and look for the ntfs lines.

i did what you said but the last part mount a i tried that supposed to be in terminal after i save fstab right?? i kept getting command not found when i tried the mount commands
