I am using FC6 and KDE 3.5.5. I have customised KDE's appearance and really like what I have in place now. However, when I run Eclipse (3.2.1) from an application button on the task bar, the colours that are used are the default KDE ones that I get if I launch a program as root. If however I use a terminal window and cd into the Eclipse directory and enter ./eclipse it picks up my colours beautifully.
Why is this? How do I get Eclipse to pick up my colours when launched from an application button? I tried a mini script that does a cd and then launches the application but the result is the same.
