USB Multiboot - How to partition?

I would like to install Fedora 6 Test 3 on an external USB hard disk along side Fedora 5 which is already on the hard drive. I have researched these forums using search arguments such as dual boot, multiboot, extended partition without success. I have turned up posts which hint that some who frequent these forums may have USB multiboot working. If this information is already here, please point me to it.

What I need to know is how to partition my USB disk, a 60 MB Seagate USB drive? Do I assign a primary partition to /boot, an extended partition to / and a primary partition to "swap"? How does GRUB distinguish between FC5 /root and FC6T3 /root assuming each is installed in separate extended partitions? Can I implement this partition scheme with the RH Disk Druid?

Thanks,
Norm
