help with mplayer-plugin and w32codecs

ok i installed mplayer plugin and w32codecs following the instructions on fedorafaq.org

i go to play a wmv file within a webpage in firefox http://ebaumsworld.com/2006/08/microsoft-support.html

it buffers, then when i click play it says "getting playlist" and then says "stopped"


this happens on all wmv's

This happens to me a lot too, try hitting the little 'play' button a couple of times

i figured out how to at least get it running in totem, but not in firefox

Perhaps you might want to try to install it by source and get all the right flags for mplayer on, etc.
