spca5xx and system reboot

Hi there!
I own a Creative webcam (n10225)and i installed the spca5xx module to use it on linux. When I plug the camera in, the module gats loaded successfully as an "lsmod |grep spca" shows. Now, If I launch Ekiga it even shows me the pictures for some seconds and then the system reboots. Even if I try to use the cam with the spcaview utility the system immediatelly reboots.

What's the problem?
