Hi,

I had the same problem

When I power up, my wireless does not work.

I have to log on as root.
open terminal and enter
"iwconfig wlan0 up"
"iwconfig wlan0 essid XXXXXXXXX" (your sid)
"iwconfig wlan0 key 12345678" (your key)
"iwconfig"
"dhclient wlan0"
goto menu
"system" "administration" "network"
check devices, wireless wlan0 showns inactive.
SAVE first (works for me)
Now Activate.
It comes up now.
Save.

hope it workes for you.
Andy.
