I ran a yum from testing repo:
Code:
yum update --enablerepo=rp*ing
It shown a new Nvidia driver listed, 190.53.
Accepted to load it.
Code:
[marc@kiriyamablevins ~]$ rpm -qa | grep nvidia
kmod-nvidia-2.6.31.9-174.fc12.i686.PAE-190.53-1.fc12.i686

Was still using the rig for a few hours, then I went to log off
It logs off, but didn't go to the Fedora login screen, I'm using kdm.
Got a blank screen, cursor at upper left.
My mind was blank of how to restart the X server from CLI, I tried Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, no go.
So I tried Ctrl+Alt+F2 to get in terminal mode and ran:
It restarted my rig in 1 minute.
Should whenever a new Nvidia or ATI driver gets installed, should it auto restart the X server at logoff time? That would be nice.
Funny thing was, I read lots of Fedorians seeing blank screen with cursor at upper left, thought they didn't follow Leigh's instructions.
No it was whenever a new Nvidia driver gets installed, need to restart the X server. Assuming the same for other video driver flavors.
Cheers

Googled around,I see:
The kwin command doesn't work. Next.
Code:
telinit 3 #Shutdown X
telinit 5 #Starts X
Works, not sure if I can remember that. :P
