    Wired network needs manual intervension

    Hi,
Most of the times when FC9 starts, the wired network doesn't come up. I have to do it manually by means of the icon in the tray; Wired Network, and click System Eth0 button to start the network.

Can some1 help me how to make it automatic ?

    Thanks and regards,
    mha

Icon in the tray? Are you taking about Network Manager? I'd suggest disabling Network Manager and just using the network service instead.

If the system is NOT mobile and not using wireless, then NetworkManager isn't a good choice.
Disable the NM service (system-config-services) and revised the entries with system-config-network.
