The most important thing to do before installing tha ati drivers is to backup your 'xorg.cong' and then play with both "/sbin/init 3' and 'startx' to test if the driver works for you.

If not, I think that Win 2003 overwrotes the previous MBR where Grub was...

I got these screens too. This is strange because, the screen with the 'lost insterrupt' message appeared with mandrake.... Only Fedora 1 & 2 did a perfect install.
This must be caused by the SATA...
