I have a SunFire v20z with two CPUs. I want to turn off (disable) one of them as I can do using Solaris (http://bama.ua.edu/cgi-bin/man-cgi?psradm+1M). This of course is for scalability tests

How to turn off CPU

Does anyone know how to turn off CPU on a Fedora machine? I am looking for something like 'psradm' you have in Solaris.

Well, the samba solution gave me an idea... and...

Well, the samba solution gave me an idea... and this is what i did to make it work:
# mount_smbfs -I linux.server //smb_user@linux_server:samba/dir /mnt/avig/

Are you trying to install Java or Java Plugin? Why do you need rpmbuild for Java?
Just go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/ download the version you fency and run the executable file.

I have this simple script that when ran indicates whether the open-vpn is on or off, if it is off it starts it, and if it is on it stops it. I added a launcher to my Desktop to stop/start...

I think it is safe to say that xorg-x11-*-FC3.45.1 did not help FC3 users with Intel Chipset.
Anyone knows something different? Is this still reported as a bug?
