PHP test doesn't work after successfully installing Apache, MySQL, PHP

Hi all, well i'm sick of banging my head against a wall trying to figure this one out (even though headbanging is cool, especially to old Metallica).

I got the following to install perfectly:

# yum install httpd
# yum install mysql-server mysql
# yum install php

I set the following up (logged in as root) with no errors:

systemctl enable httpd.service
systemctl start httpd.service
systemctl start mysqld.service

Then I put the following one-line file in place, with the line being <?php phpinfo(); ?>

/var/www/html/index.php

Now I go to http://localhost and it still displays the "Fedora Test Page" screen, its supposed to display the PHP variables.

Any suggestions?

Brent.
