Help! Newbie here
I'm new to F15, and can't seem to find the package manager. I want to install Firefox, can anyone help me please?:rolleyes:

There are several places you can do this.


go to your Activities overview, select Applications. You should see the "Add/Remove software icon near the top of the list. (It has an icon that looks like 4 boxes)


open a terminal window, or use ctrl-alt-f2 to open a console
if in a terminal, IF in a console, jusr login as root and run yum install firefox


su -
(root password)

yum install firefox

Assuming you're using Gnome 3, move your mouse pointer to the top left, select Applications and then select the Add/Remove Software icon.
