I have followed all the guides i seem to able to find...

i have installed hfsplus.ppc via yum

(parted) print
Disk geometry for /dev/sdb: 0kB - 200GB
Disk label type: mac

1 1kB 32kB 32kB Apple
2 33kB 1081kB 1049kB hfs untitled boot
3 1081kB 106MB 105MB ext3 untitled

(parted)

[root@server cryptic]# mount -t hfsplus -O -ro /dev/sdb5 /mnt/mac
mount: block device /dev/sdb5 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: cannot mount block device /dev/sdb5 read-only

???

fixed!

was using fedora core 5 test 3 ppc

run: yum update

* wait a billion years depending on what you have installed

reboot * there is a kernel update...

mount /dev/sdb[insert partition number] /[random location of your choice]

: ))))))))))))) !!!!!!!!
