I have 2 Compaq SCSI control cards(Smart Array 3200 & 221) in my Compaq Proliant 3000 server. At system boot it gives me an error that that they are not configured. However when FC4 loads, I go to Application>System Tools>Hardware Browser>SCSI Drives, it shows that I have 2 listed, both are LSI Logic/Symbios Logic 53c875, and it says Mfg Unknown, driver sym 53c8xx. I think i'll remove them reboot to make sure they aree what I think I'm looking at, just to verify.
My question is even tho the system doesn't recognize them at boot, is it possible that FC4
will recognizes it in the OS? If yes, more questions to come.
