View Full Version : What provides libXxf86vm.so in fc5?

Anyone hit this yet?

Under FC4 xorg-x11-devel this lib was provided by:

# rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/X11R6/lib/libXxf86vm.so
xorg-x11-devel-6.8.2-37.FC4.49.2

BUT under fc5 there is no xorg-x11-devel!

Hence while X11 7.0 is giving my a wonderful via driver that supports MPEG2 decode in the Unichorme display as part of the CLE266 chipset, mythtv won't compile as this lib is missing.

Anyone know what package provides this lib under fc5? google/forum search not helping...

I wonder if the omission of xorg-x11-devel was an oversight. In trying to compile the Fox Gui Toolkit, I find that I need glu.h, which (according to pbone.net) is provided by xorg-x11-devel.

yum provides libXxf86vm.so
gives
libXxf86vm.i386
listed in the FC5 Core repo.
