Few Questions

Hay im looking forward to FC5 but can i ask a few qustions about Test3, does it default support NTFS partions and has anyone tried using it with a broadcom BCM4318 Wireless card, if so how easy was it to set up?

Also would people recomend upgrading to Test 3 now or wait a few weeks for the Finnal to be released?

Test 3 is pretty stable, if you upgrade now you can use Yum to keep it up to date all the way to release. I doubt it will support NTFS, but it's easy enough to add the RPM from livna. I haven't used a broadcom card.

I've had problems with the bcm43xx support of my Dell 1350 wireless card. I got it to fire up but I couldn't keep a link longer than a minute or two. I've read a couple places that the version of this driver in the test kernels is old and has known problems.

I tried to use ndiswrapper (1.10) with the current dell drivers (which both worked fine on FC4) and NetworkManager doesn't work properly with it. system-config-network seems to bring the wireless up and down ok with this driver, but I miss the swiss-army knife utility of NetworkManager when moving from AP to AP.

Thus... a holding pattern until this gets sorted out.
