I've just started an install on a DFI NF4 SLI-DR Expert w/ opteron 170. I get to the
"Test media" screen and notice that the keyboard stops working. It
works during the loader, so I can select different install options, but
once I select an option (say, "linux noprobe" just as an example) and
it actually boots the kernel and all, the keyboard stops working.

I also have install problems/crash with test 3. I am able to get the installer to the screen where it says it is checking dependencies and then X crashes and I see a message that the program exited. The only option after that is to reboot. Same problem happened on test 2. I have a Nvidia g2 pro video card. FC4 installed correctly on this same configuration. What changes were made to anaconda that makes it crash now? I look forward to using test 4 when this problem is corrected. :)

I can get RC5T3 installed except that there is a continual sort of flashing.
Every 5 seconds the screen will dim slight for half a second. Every thing is readable but its just a bit annoying. I have a Compaq Evo N1000v.
It has a ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 display with LCD
the flashing occurrs in both text and graphics modes.
It worked fine under FC4 althouigh I had to manually specify the graphics as it won't autodetect.
Any ideas ?
