Hello everyone,

I need help. I recently installed Fedora Core 4 (Everything) on a slightly older Gateway Pentium 4 PC 1.8 Ghz PC. The install went well, everything worked. I launched the Red Hat updater, downloaded all the patches, and rebooted. When the box came up, the dispay was all messed up. The desktop icons were 20X larger than normal and the screen would only display black and white images. It was useless. I was still able to VNC to the box and the display was normal using this route. I have a Raedeon Graphics Video card. Are there known problem...has anyone else had this heppen before?

-Thanks!!!!

Maybe the update messed around with your card's drivers. Try reinstalling them and see what happens. Or if that doesn't fix it, look around in the X Server config files. Maybe something got reset (such as the resolution and color depth).
