I've been updating using PUP (software updater) almost daily using an unmodified /etc/yum.conf... some things have been fixed, and some if not more things broke. I've got the same Yumex, Missing Dependency: libedataserver-1.2.so.6 problems, etc problems posted in this forum which are now fixed. Now none of the OpenOffice apps could start. I've noticed that a new KDE base has been updated, and now finally my CD/DVD show up on KDE desktop automounted but Audio CD crashes, which begs my question:
I'm sure KDE would do things as fundamental as automounting CD/DVD (similar to gnome-volume-manager) many versions ago. So I figure that it must have been a screwup in the rpm included in the FC5test2 DVD. Who made the daily compilations/rpm? Is it like you and me uploading the rpm's or is it official fedora testing team if it exists? Should I even be using PUP at all? (yeah I know it's FC5 "TEST2")
