Ok - i have Win 2k installed on IDE 0 using NTFS, my second HDD has an NTFS partition and an unpartitioned space of about 15 gigs.

I boot to my Fedora Core 4 DVD and choose "Automatic installation" into the unpartitioned space and it goes through the install, completes and asks me to remove the DVD. When i press Reboot it gives an error message "Error Sending Status......" i don't get the rest of the message.

I was wondering if there was a way to boot from a Fedora Floppy instead of the HDD. I'm basically a neophyte to Linux and just want to learn.

Regards

Forgot to mention that after re-booting after the above error message i just boot into 2k normally without a prompt to boot into Fedora.
