Here's the deal:
I simply can NOT get lm_sensors to work on my test1 system!!!
Specs:
Nforce2 mobo
AMD XP 1600 overclocked to 1715 or so
eth0, sound and onboard video all work fine.
lm_sensors will do sensors-detect and find stuff; it will write the .conf file and all SEEMS to be good, excpet I cannot find the correct location to put the .conf file! (At least according to the howto I found.)
Something in ..../prog/.... or some such- I'll have to try it again if exact details are needed.
Note- I have run lm_sensors in numerous other distros before with no problems but this is the first time I have done it with the 2.6 kernel.
Maybe I'm just having a braincramp, but I can't seem to get this done- help!
