Use PartitionMagic to resize the Windows partition down leaving unpartitioned space on your drive. Then when you install Fedora select automatic partitioning and "keep all partitions and use existing free space" on the "Automatic Partitioning" page. This will automatically format the remaining unpartitioned space on your drive that was left when you shrunk Windows. See Fedora Core 4 Installation Notes (http://stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_4_installation_notes.html) for details. This article (http://stanton-finley.net/HP_Pavilion_ZE2108WM.html) may also be useful.

Hello, I'm a newbie in Linux. I face the same problem with Fedora Core 5. :( My laptop totally hang up and got to reboot manually. MY laptop spec are as shown:
Acer Aspire 1691WLMi,
ATI Mobility Radeon X700 PCI Express, and
15.4 WXGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks.

Sue.

Hi,
I able to resolved the problem(90%) with the solution provided by redhat. Please refer to the link below for the solution. :)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=186164
However, i still looking for the solution of PCI: Cannot allocate ..... problem. Anyway, with the above fixed, I no longer hang in start dev there and manage to get log into X Window.
Hope this will help to fixed your problem as well.
Best Regards,
Sue
