Fedora Core 2 Test 1 ALSA woes solved.

ghenry appears to have fixed his ALSA sound woes in FC2 Test 1. There's a forum post here (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=5257#post5257) which may be of use to those of you struggling with sound in Test 1.

We can ignore most of it, but it's good info and I am going to try the etc/modules.conf aliases of:

alias /dev/mixer snd-mixer-oss
alias /dev/dsp snd-pcm-oss
alias /dev/midi snd-seq-oss


To see if this has any effect.

Yep, the last setting in /etc/modules.conf kept the permissions. All I need to figure out is how to keep the volume unmuted.
