After burning FC5, the install decides to go headless.

When the graphic portion of anaconda is about to start it is unable to detect the video card and the monitor, so it starts the headless installation. where the screen is readable with some difficulty.

My question: Is there a way to force a video card configuration during the install?

Has anyone else tried FC5 on Dell Inspiron 1300?

ive not installed FC5 on the Inspiron but i have heard problems in another thread on this forum regarding FC5 test 2 and display issues. Check it out perhaps?? Im not sure on the link but it is in this forum under laptops and it was to do with ASCPI and the sound card apparently, but settings entered at the prompt seem to fix it. Id recommend FC4 actually, as several have no trouble booting this on the 1300. Check about.
