When i firtst start up FC5 T2 it get an error saying x isn't configured correctly and also asks if i would like to run x configure. Running X configure didn't make a change on startup. But after going through the error screens and getting to the text version of FC5 T2 I can log in and type "startx" and X starts right up with no problems. Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this or is this just a bug and just need to wait for an update.

OK i got this error message from the X server log
GDM: Xserver not found: /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 -audit 0-auth /var/gdm/:0.X
Error command could not be executed!
Please install the X server or correct the GDM configuration and restart GDM
I went to /usr/X11R6/bin/ and the folder is empty. How do i correct this?

I got the same problem. I believe my problem was I had a custom login screen in FC4 and I upgraded to FC5. Did you have a similar configuration?

I don't have /usr/X11R6/bin either but my X is in /usr/bin/X and it's pointing to /usr/bin/Xorg!!! My window manager starts just fine though...

The modular Xorg 7.0 does not use /usr/X11R6/ it uses /usr
