The keyboard definition is missing / wrong for French Canadian support.
I could not get many accented characters to display. The keyboard mapping in FC4 was more exact and matched my keyboard.
I had some help in copying over the FC4 keyboard definition for French Canada. It does not work perfectly, but better than what Core5 offered.
The FC4 keyboard definition under FC5 has some characters missing, the french open quotes and close quotes.
And I guess a few others. I believe that the problem ticket has been created in Bugzilla.
