Welcome to the Linux community. I have to seriously advise you to spend some time with Linux on a test machine or with a dual boot configuration before you attempt to pull off what you are looking to do above.

Without knowing the basics of Linux (and there are quite a few things to know), any step-by-step guide that anybody tries to put together is going to leave out some things that are going to cause you great difficulty.

I speak with experience. It's just EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to jump into Linux when you are trying to do too much at one. In my opinion, trying to set up Samba as a PDC for an NT style domain is biting off just a little too much on the first byte.

With that said, you might want to consider purchasing the following book which has a section in chapter 2 about what you are trying to do. http://www.bookpool.com/sm/0782144284. This book focuses on Windows and Linux integration and it starts with loading up multiple servers in a lab and using out of the box tools for both Windows 2003 and Fedora Core 3.
