I'm trying to install my HP PSC 750 printer using the HPLIP software driver. I've installed it ussing the package provided by yum, but during the setup process using the address http://localhost:631, my printer model (PSC 750) doesn't appear in the list. I've checked the official site and it says it is supposed to be supported. Am I missing something?

I guess the main problem is that my printer isn't listed in the Printer Setup for the GIMP. Therefore I have to select another printer model that always cuts off part of the images I'm trying to print. How can I get my model to show up in the GIMP?

this is a politically very not correct advice, but try http://www.turboprint.info/. But keep in mind it is not free as freedom and even are not all features as free as beer, but it works great for me.

My printer isn't supported by Turboprint.

That doesn't sound very good ...
Is it a all-in-one printer? Most of them don't work very well under Linux.

Yes, it is an all in one.

I've gone to the Gimp Print website, and they say that I can use the PSC 750 under the Gimp by setting the printer to as HP Deskjet 900 series and by using the driver "pcl-900". The problem is, I'm not sure how to use this particular driver or where to input such a command.
