cycles rebooting after installing

I'm trying out FC5t1 and the install went great (i was able to use the GUI installer which I could not do in FC4). After the install finished the computer rebooted but just after grub loaded up the kernel the computer rebooted again. It continues to cycle rebooting right after grub loads the kernel.

I had this when I installed on a new Fujitsu-Siemens machine at work. A same-brand laptop would install, but the desktop would not.

Wasn't able to do much tracking to see where the problem lay, but I took a not-altogether-uneducated guess at the mobo chipset. The new desktop had a very recent BIOS / chipset I seem to remember.

Was annoying as hell as the installation kernel had obviously worked well enough. It was just the installed kernel would crap out quick as lightning.

I also had some crashes DURING installation, but ironed these out by installing a VERY plain set of packages.

Drop test1 and go for test2. I'm downloading it right now.
