But the actual USB "drives" are detected on my computer by Linux (see image below).
So, when I pop in an SD or CF card from my camera, it doesn't do anything, no mounting, no reading, no "reading light" from drive, etc.
How do I get this to work since I want to edit my pictures using GIMP.
