Dear All,
uname -a:
Linux pc61-phys 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 #1 Thu Jun 2 22:55:56 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
My locally connected (lp0) DEClaser1152 postscript printer just stopped working. One day last week I cancelled a job on the queue and it hasn't worked since  My other (jetdirect) printer continues to work fine.
Gnome print manager says it is printing when you print something to the DEC. Jobs can be cancelled from the queue. CUPS admin shows the printer ready and idle.
The printer itself produces test pages, but nothing gets from the print queues to the printer.
The parallel port driver lp0 and parport show up in dmesg as loaded and ready. I have removed and re-installed the printer both in CUPS and in Gnome print manager.
Any ideas where I may look for some clues as to what is going on?
Thanks in advance,
DrR
