I was wondering how good support for this motherboard would be under Fedora (and Linux in general). There are some quirks I'd really like to know about this mortherboard in particular:
Sound. What soundchip does it really use. I really hope it has a VT8237 southbridge as I knkow for a fact that this one does have Hardware Mixing with ALSA (unlike an Envy chipset)
Wireless LAN. This motherboard comes with WiFi-g, however the information on the Asus website is QUITE sparse on this motherboard.
The lack of information (useful Linux information, anyway) on the Asus website really pisses me off, since this MoBo looks like a real sweet deal. If you'd like what the heck am I talking about here, see here (http://usa.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=15&l3=143&model=376&modelmenu=1)
