O.k.

I might be new to this neck of the woods, but I'm no real stranger to Linux.

I've got the VNC server running on the Fedora Box, which allows me to log into the system using X.

I prefer to use the KDE, so does any one have a configuration file that show the config for KDE over VNC ? :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

This should be what you are after.
5. Edit this file - file:///etc/sysconfig/desktop for KDE to be started
DESKTOP="KDE"
DISPLAYMANAGER=KDE

Hope this helps.

Go into /home/user/.vnc and modify the xstartup file.

# Uncomment the following two lines for normal desktop:

unset SESSION_MANAGER
exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

If you are still having trouble, please check out this doc. It's pretty good, http://fedoranews.org/tchung/vnc/
