Message Width Bigger?

In the reply dialogue (when you click on reply and come to the second screen) Can we make the message window scale to maybe like 70% of the available area as at least on my monitor (1600x1200) it is scrunched over to the left and would be much easier to type if it was bigger. Will post screenshot if necessary.

I notice this too. It's annoying. I have the screen space for 80 characters on a line, but I only get 35.

Apparently vBulletin compensates for old Netscape browsers that I bet few on these boards use. I got this from a
mozillazine forum post (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=18513&highlight=textarea.).

The limit shows up in the source of the reply page:
<textarea name="message" rows="20" cols="40" wrap="virtual" tabindex="2">

I vote this gets changed.
