Does anyone know of a PCI-Express 1x or 16x SATA II card with Linux drivers? Everything I find either saying Windows-only or doesn't say at all.

Check out the Highpoint 64bit PCI SATAII cards. I have a RocketRAID 2220 running under FC4 with no problems.

Thanks! That's awesome. The only thing about the RocketRAID 2320 (The PCIe) was that it's PCIe 4x/8x. I'll have to look closer at my mobo to see if that'll work. I think I've only got 1x and 16x.

Anyone else have any cards that work for them?

I think x4 and x8 cards will work in an x16 slot. Can someone verify this?

Areca makes some nice SATA RAID cards with PCI-express x8. I don't know your application, but this might be overkill.

Their site claims Redhat & SuSE support.

SIIG makes some x1 cards with SATA and SATA RAID. Their site specifically states no Linux support.
