Howdy,
I tried to install on the above mentioned machine ( dual xeon ) and it was a no go, anyone else have this problem on this box before??? I think it might be a problem with the physical HDD setup...

I haven't tried such an install, but have you searched the forum for messages that relate to installing on systems with raid controllers?

I will search and see if I can find any issues with this systems RAID controllers, I believe it is RAID 5 out of the box. Thanks!

Just installed Fedora 11 on above machine. On boot, it would go into a weird state with blank screen, but if you typed on the keyboard strange characters would appear. This appears in the small-font console screen, not graphical mode. Hitting ctrl-alt-del causes a legible rebooting message to appear and it does reboot. In rescue mode I installed the non-PAE kernel and it boots OK. YMMV.
