Hi, I wanted to know where can I get the fdisk for Linux so I can partition my disk in 4 primary partitions. Can I do this under Windows, I mean, is this possible to have 4 primary partitions in Windows or is this exclusive of Linux sitems?
Thank you very much
greetings.

It's not limited to Linux since I have done it numerous times using Windows' disk partitioner. I believe it's platform specific.

This works happily as Mal said, but I should point out that older OSes such as DOS won't be able to deal with four primary partitions.
Assuming that you don't want to live in the past, this won't be a problem, but I thought I should mention it.

Thank you for your replies,

I could do it with Partition Magic under Windows 98, then I installed WIndows 98 in hd0,0, Windows XP in hd0,1 and the boot directory of Linux in hd0,2. The hd0,3 I used it to create the extended partion and then created logical units where I installed Fedora in hd0,4 and the swap partition in hd0,5
