Photoshop - GIMP

I have been a faithfull user of Photoshop with Windows more or less since i started using computers - which is more years than i care to reckon - but i must say that since trying out Linux (1 week ago) i am amazed at the quality and finesses that The GIMP has to offer. OK, so it dosnt support ALL the colour spectrums, but for a normal user like myself who dabbles in webpages and the like, its just as damn good in my opinion and also not so hard on my poor old CPU - congrats ;)

Have a look at Inkscape as well. You will be equally as impressed.
