wireless driver problems

hi,
i have changed from suse to fedora core 4 and i am trying to set up my proxim wireless b/g gold combocard

i have tryed using madwifi-0.9.6.0-18 but it does not work it shows an error

i have try googling for it with no luck

is there any other ways anyone can think of

I had to get the mad-wifi source from CVS and run "make && make install"
What error do you get?

for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; Invalid argument.
