Good morning
after latest "yum update", postfix doesn't start.
The error in /var/log/maillog is:
Sep 27 14:56:52 localhost postfix/postalias[2517]: fatal: open /etc/aliases.db: Permission denied

The file permissions are:
$ ll /etc/aliases.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root smmsp 12288 Sep 27 15:29 /etc/aliases.db

Can someone help me?
thanks
Fabrizio

Did your update include an SELinux policy update? To see if SE linux is enabled on your machine, su root and type: /usr/sbin/sestatus -v. To test if SE Linux is your problem you can temporarily turn it off by typing setenforce 0 (and type setenforce 1 to temporarily restore enforcing mode after you have concluded your test).

Mmm...
if I turn off SE Linux, postfix service starts!
But now... how can I turn on SE linux and start postfix? ;-)

Thank you very much!

As root:
fixfiles restore
This will take a while. Then
service postfix restart
or reboot.
