Several (severe?) questions:
1. I have a Sound Blaster Live!, and Gnomemeeting does not see the card, so it makes it impossible to talk over the VoIP. At the same time, running lsof | grep dsp shows:
artsd 6744 vito 8u CHR 14,3 65663 /dev/dsp
so it seems that arts system recognises it.
2. Phillips webcam is also not been seen and recognized by Gnomemeeting - but Camstream works nearly fine (apart from the fact, that I can not resize the picture).
3. Trying to get the webcam picture on xawtv or tvtime does not work (by getting input from /dev/video0 - as /dev/video1 I have set for an AM Studio303 card, also not being recognized - probably because of the cx88 chip...).
All that on FC 1; would anybody help me please, directing to some valid posts, www sites etc?
