Hello,
There seems to be a real issue with FC4 and acpi on a lot of laptops. With mine I need to turn it off to be able to connent to the network. This seems to be a IRQ conflict.
A couple of questions.
1. Is turning it off the only solution?
2. Is there a way of allocating it a IRQ number that FC4 does not use? and
3. Is there an overheating risk to the laptop turning it off? Mine does seem to be hotter with it off.
Is there any way of getting a fix from FC4 for this issue or is it more basic than FC4

The sad thing is that my old laptop and FC4 worked a treat from day one and with the new I have nothing but problems
