FC3 on Gateway 4530GZ...wifi and sound card issues...

Hello! I'm totally new to Linux. I've dualbooted my laptop with Windows XP and FC3. I've seen a few posts about sound card detection on the 4530GZ, but I'm not sure exactly how to fix the issue. I also have a Linksys Wireless Broadband Router, WRT54g, version 2. I can use it with the ethernet cable, but not wireless. Can someone give me a few pointers (in plain language please, lol). Thanks so much! :)

Are you able to play the sound detection? For your wifi open terminal and run:/sbin/lspci you dont have if you know the chipset of card.
